Dad/Grandpa update from 11/13/10

Craig went down to work on the house today.  I am not sure who else came to help him but I really appreciate all that you were able to do.  I was very sick Saturday so Susan and I were not able to make it down this time.  I know several of you were involved with the church's World Wide Training.  

Craig called me to let me know that they were able to finish all of the odd projects in the house today. Next week we need to work on fixing the sheetrock in the garage and then finish cleaning everything inside to make it all look good and complete.

There is still plenty of things to do if you are at all available to come help.  We might be able to get everything finished up with one more day, we will just have to see what we can get done.

I want to thank everyone for all of the time and energy that you have put in.  We could not have done this without you.  We just need a little more time to have this project finally completed.

Dad/Grandpa update from 11/06/10

Scott, Craig, Linda, Susan, and Allison all came down to work on the house.  We have had a  long list of things to do but we were able to finish several projects this time.  Linda and Allison were able to paint the master bedroom and living room and Susan painted the hall linen closet.  Craig and Scott spent the day working on completing odds and ends of small jobs.  They did get the wiring fixed for the light above the stairs, now we just need to know which wire is which to attach to the switch - next time.  Today was a very productive day and we all felt very good with what got done today.

Painting is finally all completed!  Hurray!!!!
There are more little projects to finish and then cleaning everything, so if you have some time we would greatly appreciate any help you can give.  We are almost finished with everything.

1. Clean windows in family room - Finish
2. Clean windows in dining room
3. Clean windows in kitchen - Finish
4. Clean windows in master bedroom 
5. Clean windows in bathroom
6. Clean all bee & egg sacks off eaves - outside
7. Mop dining room/kitchen floor
8. Wash outside of dishwasher
9. Wash outside of fridge
10. Wipe out all kitchen cupboards (last time)
11. Wipe out all shelves in entertainment center
12. Vacuum stairs
13. Clean all carpets
14. Replace banister on stairs
15. Replace light fixtures
16. Install light above the stairs
17. Install new light switch (2-way) - stairs
18. Install doorbell
19. Primer living room wall 
20. Paint Living room
21. Paint Master Bedroom
22. Paint linen closet
23. Paint kitchen/garage door - one more coat
24. Paint door frame to garage
25. Put in tub surround  - no longer needed
26. Finish shower, plumbing, accessories
27. Paint front door
28. Replace all plug outlets - Jared
29. Replace light switches - Jared
30. Replace porch light
31. Grout brick - front door
32. Grout brick -  family room hearth
33. Clean out coat closet
34. Finish cleaning out the garage
35. Replace sheetrock  - garage ceiling
36. Stack bricks from sandbox
37. Misc. yard work - make it look good (garbage, bricks, etc.)
